Looking at pictures of food and drinks is almost as good as enjoying the product yourself. From staged shoots to product photography on the fly, I love playing with food for photos as much as I love eating great food.
After working in the restaurant industry for many years, you realize just how necessary good photos of your product are. For promotion and marketing purposes to training guides, product photography is a love for me.
I have loved design since I was a child. I began designing materials for my mothers non=profit in Northern Nevada when I was in middle school, then continued developing materials for the high school booster club and beyond as I got older.
I worked extensively with page layout during my time in the journalism world through college, though my passion lies in designing promotional materials as it allows for much more flexibility as well as creative freedom.
As an athlete and avid lover of all things sporting, sports photography was my first passion and it’s what led me to pursue a degree in visual journalism.
From capturing those moments of peak action to the emotional moments that come as the result of victory and defeat, there is so much magic that happens in the world of athletics.
